Originally making our mark in the footwear industry, we’ve since broadened our horizons to include packaging, paper converting, packaging, and product assembly. Caswell Adhesive’s traditional roots within the footwear market and the manufacture of polish and dubbin with Leatherfood still going strong today.

Caswell Adhesive staff outside the old Chelsea Works site, St Michaels Road, Kettering.

Caswell Adhesives expansion continues with the purchase of new larger premises in Corby, Northants

Continued investment in providing the best possible service to our customers see’s the installation of the new laboratory.

Moving into new technologies see the installation of the first hot melt mixer.

The expansion continues with the purchase of premises next door to our existing unit providing the company with double the warehouse capabilities.

After the devastating fire of 2007 works begins on the new state of the art manufacturing and storage facilities.

With the roof and cladding now on the full scale of the operation can be appreciated.

The new facilities all complete and ready to be handed over so the internal machinery installation can commence.

The commissioning of the new plant begins.

Further expansion into new technologies requiring new machinery as we take delivery and installation of the Turello change pan mixer, press and sausage packer.

With new technologies comes new laboratory equipment as the technical department take delivery of a new Karl Fischer Titrator for improved moisture content analysis for raw materials and finished goods.

Further investment in the technical and quality departments with the purchase of FTIR to analyse raw materials, samples and finished products.
