Originally making our mark in the footwear industry, we’ve since broadened our horizons to include packaging, paper converting, packaging, and product assembly. 1900's

Caswell Adhesive’s traditional roots within the footwear market and the manufacture of polish and dubbin with Leatherfood still going strong today.

1980's

Caswell Adhesive staff outside the old Chelsea Works site, St Michaels Road, Kettering.

1990's

Caswell Adhesives expansion continues with the purchase of new larger premises in Corby, Northants.

2000

Continued investment in providing the best possible service to our customers see’s the installation of the new laboratory.

2000

Moving into new technologies see the installation of the first hot melt mixer.

2003

The expansion continues with the purchase of premises next door to our existing unit providing the company with double the warehouse capabilities.

2008

After the devastating fire of 2007 works begins on the new state of the art manufacturing and storage facilities.

2008

The steel framework is all up as the new facilities begin to take shape.

2009

With the roof and cladding now on the full scale of the operation can be appreciated.

2009

The new facilities all complete and ready to be handed over so the internal machinery installation can commence.

The installation of the new manufacturing facilities and the breaking moment with the first new mixers put into position after two long years of planning.

2009

The commissioning of the new plant begins.

2010

Further expansion into new technologies requiring new machinery as we take delivery and installation of the Turello change pan mixer, press and sausage packer.

2011

With new technologies comes new laboratory equipment as the technical department take delivery of a new Karl Fischer Titrator for improved moisture content analysis for raw materials and finished goods.

2016

Caswell Adhesives continue their support of youngsters in the community by sponsoring the very talented Desborough Town Cricket Club Under 13’s for the second year running.

2018

Further investment in the technical and quality departments with the purchase of FTIR to analyse raw materials, samples and finished products.

2018

Caswell Adhesives raise over £600 for The Lakelands Daycare Hospice via a charity cricket match held at Desborough Town Cricket Club, sponsored by Kookaburra & Langley Smith. The Caswell team remains unbeaten despite posting a mere 94 runs from their innings, they managed to bowl the opposition out for 72. Thank you everyone for your support.

Staff Macmillan Coffee morning raising over £70 for a very good cause.
